I'm Venezuelan! I moved to Florida at the age of 7 and have been here since.

+Hablas español?

Si! Mi mama me mataria si paro de hablar Español.

+How did you start cooking?

I've always cooked my whole life. It's a part of my culture that I love. It wasn't until after I graduated college, while dealing with a depression, that I realized I love cooking and feeding people. It feeds my soul and truly makes me happy. I started documenting my recipes in a blog and from there it started taking a life of it's own.

+What is your favorite food?

Depends on the mood but I will never turn down an arepa!

+Favorite kitchen tip?

Work clean. I always try my best to keep myself as organized as I can while cooking. It makes the world a difference!

+Kitchen must have?

A SHARP chef's knife! I can't tell you how important that is.

+Best advice you've ever received?

There's no such thing as luck. Luck is where preparation and hard work meet. That's always stuck with me!

+Savory or Sweet?

Savory, all the way! I don't really care for desserts most of the time.

+Favorite book?

Regular books: A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. You're A Badass by Jen Sincero. Seven Spiritual Laws of Sucess by Deepak Chopkra

Cookbook: The Flavor Bible is my go to. Salt Fat Acid Heat by Samin Nosrat.

+Your husband's a chef too? You must eat SO good!

SO many people swear we eat gourmet food ALL the time, which we sometimes do, but the majority of the time we don't LOL

In reality we're either ordering in or throwing together a meal with whatever is in the fridge.
